About the Role:
Join PARK EAST ACADEMY INC as a Part-time Montessori Guide and inspire young minds in a nurturing environment! We are seeking passionate educators who are dedicated to fostering a love of learning through the Montessori method.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate engaging Montessori lessons and activities tailored to children's interests.
- Observe and assess student progress to adapt learning experiences accordingly.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Collaborate with parents and staff to support each child's development.
- Maintain classroom materials and resources to ensure they are accessible and organized.
- Encourage independence and self-directed learning in students.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
- Promote positive social interactions and conflict resolution among students.
- Work schedule 2:30pm - 6:00pm (contact us if another schedule may work for you part-time).
Requirements:
- Montessori certified
- Experience working with children aged 3-6 in an educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for early childhood education and child development.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Creative problem-solving skills and adaptability.
- Background check clearance and CPR/First Aid certification.
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive classroom culture.
